Mackenzie Rowan is the Administrative Assistant for the Dental Education Program and Medical Laboratory Science Program in the Dwyer School of Health Sciences at Indiana University South Bend. She supports faculty, staff, and students by coordinating administrative operations and helping create an organized, collaborative learning environment.

Prior to joining IU South Bend, Mackenzie gained experience in healthcare administration, clinical research, and education. She served as a Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator for Beacon Health System and as a Patient Engagement Leader with Digestive Research Alliance of Michiana, where she connected patients with clinical research opportunities through outreach and relationship building.
Before transitioning into healthcare, Mackenzie taught psychology and history at the high school level while coaching middle and high school cross country and track. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education with a concentration in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she competed as a collegiate cross country and track and field athlete.
Mackenzie is passionate about supporting students and faculty, fostering collaboration, and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals.
